Hi, I’m looking at getting the business package, I just need one question confirmed before hand though. We have members of our organisation that have a separate price to normal members, I’m happy to have them registered so that when they login they get a different price, for the non members and student tickets I would prefer that they don’t have to register to buy a ticket.. is this possible. I had a look through all the options and have played with the lite version but haven’t seen that part, possibly over looked it. We would like to offer a 15% discount to people attending a second event, my idea would be to just send a link to those people via email, but I’m worried they might forward that email to other people wanting to attend. Would you have a solution around this issue as well. Thank you in advance Phil

My have found the answer to my second question, but if someone could help me with the first question that would be great.

Hi Phill,

I replied to you via email, but I wanted to post the answer here as well:

We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso.

With the WP User Integration add-on that is included in the Business License, users can log in to receive the Member’s Price. Unless you have the event set to Member’s Only, those who register for events without logging in will be charged the regular non-member amount. They do not have to to be a register user on your site to purchase tickets.

The only way I know to do the 15% discount would be to set up a separate member’s only event that logged in users can register for.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.
