Our members are all subscription based, which means to say the membership will expire after T period. Since they registered an account with us on wordpress, it wouldn’t be a good idea to remove their account after T period so that they will not enjoy the members price.
Is there a way to go around this? Eg. setting up a new user group “Membership” and only “Membership” users get members price? Or any other ways that work..
One way would be to use S2Member as your membership plugin and the S”Member Integration add on available in the Pre Release section.
Have 2 levels of membership: Basic Members and Premium Members (or something like that). Then in the S2 Integration you can set it so that only premium members are entitled to the discount. Thus when their account is expired, demote them to Normal Members.
If you cannot use S2Members for any reason, then you may need to custom code something to do a similar job.
Hi, I just installed s2member on my dev site and will be testing it out. Just to clarify, will the S2Member integration add-on be available in business license free when it is out to the public? Also, will I have to do a clean-install of the add-on again when it is out to public?
The plans for the S2 Member add-on is to continue keeping it available as a Pre-release only.
