Hello all,

I’m setting up EE for a client that has a conference planned for next year. The conference has four different memberships and prices which I set up using the Event Pricing/Add Price section.

The registration form has three additional options that users can check (reception $50, banquet $75, etc) so at the end, the final cost would be the membership cost plus the cost of the option or options checked.

So, how can I add those options to the final price?

Hi Nicole,

You can do this with the Price Modifier in order accomplish this. It can be found in the Pre-Release downloads section below the other downloads in your account. Here is the documentation for the pre-release channel: http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/

Here is the documentation for the Price Modifier add-on: http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-price-modifier/

Thanks a lot, that did the trick.

I have another question regarding the styling. I just want to make small changes in the contact form (text fields and label spacing). So I disabled the themeroller and moved the espresso_default.css file to uploads/espresso/themes, but my edits are not taking effect. When I inspect the element, I see that the plugin is using a file named W.espresso_default.css.pagespeed.cf.randomcharacters.css.

Why is the plugin not using the espresso_default.css file I moved over? What am I missing?

Thanks!

Hi Nicole,

Firstly the css file needs to go to:

wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/css/

The file is no doubt being minified by your caching plugin, so it will make a funny looking file name for it.
