Manually adding attendees

Hi – is there a way to do a closed event, where we can manually add attendees, and it will then send them a request to pay after?

I have added an attendee but didn’t add a payment, but it automatically added him to event, and sent confirmation to user..

Hello,

The system was designed thinking that if an attendee is added by the admin, then they have already paid, or don’t need to pay. It was designed so that event admins could add attendees at the door. It was intended to be used as you are trying to use it.

You may want to consider trying a couple of things.

1. Create a Members Only event and send out invitation emails with a link to the event.

2. Or, you could do number 1 and paste the event’s shortcode on a password protected page, without requiring them to be a member of the site. Just send them the link and the password to the page. Then only those with the password can log in and register for the event.
