How do I add an attendee to an event and select one of the price/ticket options?

Hi Bins,

Currently there are a few steps for this to work. You will need to access the attendees area of the event by clicking on the number of attendees in the “Attendees” column of Event Overview. Then you click “Add New Attendee”. Once you have added the attendee, you will need click the attendees name and go to View/Edit Payment. Then you can enter the Transaction Type.

The transaction type appears to be the way it has been paid/settled.

I want ticket type!

In the Attendee List, the column Option shows ‘Admin’ i.e. who manually added the attendee, not ticket type!

You can do this, but it’s not the best process. This will improve in Event Espresso 3.2.

  1. Add an attendee manually from the back end.
  2. Click on Edit Attendee (either by clicking the attendee name or clicking the Edit Attendee icon).
  3. Select your ticket type from the price option dropdown.

Once the record is saved, the value in the Option column will change from “Admin” to whatever option you selected.

Chris,
This would be very useful, but I do not see the pricing selector on the attendee page as you show. I am running the latest version 3.1.30.7P

Hi there,

This is a newer feature that can be tested in the beta release of 3.1.31.P.beta. It’s available to download from your account page if you opt in to the pre-release channel.

It’s scheduled to be released at the end of March. This exact release date is pending how the testing goes.
