I need a way to add an attendee to a an additional event different than one they have previously registered for. MER is cool if all the events are created before hand but what about events created after initial registration. I dont want the user to have to register again so that I may use their single ID number when developing with the new API.

We could add a feature request ticket for 3.1 to add this in, but I think you’ll find 3.2 much more amenable to what you are proposing. In 3.1 there is a new attendee created for each event registration, even when using MER. In 3.2 the attendee is created once, and then an attendee-registration relation table is used to avoid duplicate attendee data in the DB.
