I am wondering if there is a way of users paying for their booking at a later stage, i.e. hours/days after making their booking? There is a link in the confirmation email, entitled something like ‘View Payment Details’, but this page just displays the status of the booking – there isn’t a link to then pay by PayPal, which is the main method of payment I am using.
Of course I can forward the email address for payment by PayPal, but presumably this wouldn’t be linked to the attendee record, so the payment status wouldn’t be automatically updated on the attendee list.
Could you please advise as to the best way of managing payments that are made at a later stage.
In the Event Espresso > General Settings there is an option “Show payment options for “Pending Payments” on the Payment Overview page?”, set it to yes and when the user clicks the View Payment Details link they will go to the page you saw, but it will have the appropriate payment gateway info there.
