I’m responsible for developing a website for a non-profit who provides camp programs for a wide variety of audiences.
We want to provide an option for the registrant to choose the payment he wants to make at the time. For example, our youth camp is $350. We require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Some families can’t afford to pay $350 up front so they make small payments of $50 every two weeks or on a monthly basis. How can I adapt the event payment system to support this and keep track of it all?
There really isn’t a way to do this in Event Espresso.
This is a far reach, but you could possible setup a membership plugin that requires a $50 (deposit) payment to register to your site, then set the event as a free event. Then you could possibly set something up where they submit incremental payments through the members plugin or another plugin. I’m not sure if that is ideal for you.
