I have installed MailChimp Integration. I already have a MailChimp API Key. When I create a new event it appears on the right menu of Event Creation, but when a new user is registrated I don’t understand if any change is made, because it does’t enter in a mail list. When I create a new event and I have choose a list MailChimp doesn’t work. How the data of all users /new and old/ to be entered in the mail list and how it can be synchronized? Can this be achieved automatically through the API Key? On the table Last 24 API Calls there are red results which indicate that there isn’t a link between Event Espresso MailChimp Plug-in and MailChimp.com.

Hello Teodor,

You will need to already have set up a list in MailChimp for it to work. Then you select the list in Event Espresso when creating an event.

Hi,
I have already set up a list in MailChimp and I select it when I create a new event, but such an e-mail does not reach any of the registrated user accounts. Probably there is not any correct link between Event Espresso and MailChimp.com. What can I do in this case?

Hi,

I took a look at your site, only one event had the mailchimp activated on it (event id 6, ??????)

I registered for this event and received an email from MailChimp asking me if I wish to sign up to the newsletter. MAilchimp asking for confirmation is standard practice.

As such I cannot see anything wrong with the Mailchimp addon. We have had people advising us in the past re the API calls in red, from what I could research at the time this is a mailchimp issue as it was not just Event Espresso suffering from this.
