Mail Chimp Only Working on Some Events

I have the mail chimp plugin installed. It is working on some events but not others. The settings of the events appear the same. The list that is working was set up before Mailchimp went to their new version. Any new list won’t receive the automatic email from Mailchimp once the class is registered for. Is there something about the new update that is preventing the confirmation emails.

I have upgraded Event Espresso to all of the latest versions.

So to clarify, everything was working fine up until the update to the latest version of Event Espresso’s mailchimp add-on?

Hi Josh- I’ll clarify. I created a list with old Mailchimp with EE mailchimp plugin 1.0. This list still works in Event Espresso. I go into an event and add a student and they receive the verification email. I updated EE Mailchimp plugin to 1.1. I created another event in EE and assigned the new list to it. When I register for the new events, I don’t receive the verification email. I still receive them on the old events. Is there something with the new MailChimp or the new EE plugin that could be causing this? To my untrained eye, it appears the events are set up the same way. The only difference would be that the working version was set up using recurring event plugin. The others are not. Thanks for your help. Andy

It’s possible that it is the groups bug that is in the current version where it only works if you have a group assigned in the event editor mailchimp setting. Try this fix: http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/mailchimp-integration-settings-part-ii/#post-55056, but I don’t know why the older events would still be working.

I made the fix the mailchimp.controller.class.php file. This did the trick. Thanks for your help. Andy
