I’ve just upgraded to EE 3.1.31.1

I have a logo upload issue and a PayPal button image issue:

Trying to upload the logo in the General Settings area isn’t working.  I’ve read this thread

http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/upload-company-logo-default-logo-not-working-on-general-settings-page/

I’m using a jpg image and insured that the file url is present.  I’ve created a new user name and tried to upload using that.  But I still can’t get it to accept an image.

Any advice?

Also I have PayPal and PP Pro activated.  The default button for PayPal doesn’t show up.  There is a file path which does have an image in the file it points to, but that image doesn’t show up on the checkout page.

Hi there,

With the logo uploader. Is it a jpg or png file that you are uploading? Can you try clicking the link where it says: Problems? Try the browser uploader instead and try the browser uploader?

With the PayPal image, what is the exact URL that’s in the Button Image URL field in the PayPal settings?

Hi Josh! Thanks for the reply.

I did try both uploading options but neither works.  I also tried copying the url and pasting it in but that didn’t work either.  I’m using a jpg file since I saw on another thread that we cannot use transparency.  As a side note, I AM able to get an image into the downloadable invoice (Invoice Payment Settings).

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the prompt on the PayPal button.  It’s fine now.  For some reason, the path that was in there included the version number of event-espresso which was not actually a part of the file path.  I removed the .3.1.24.1.P and it works fine now.

I look forward to your ideas about the logo.

You might try temporarily switching to the default WP theme and temporarily deactivating other WP plugins to rule out a theme or plugin conflict.
