I have a number of different types of classes but let’s just use one as an example. I have a Prenatal Yoga class that runs on Tuesdays at 12pm, Thursdays at 8am and Saturdays at 9:30am. It’s the exact same class, same event description, etc.
Because the class runs at different times on these days, I have set them up as three recurring events – one for the Tuesday classes, one for the Thursday classes and one for the Saturday classes. I’m hoping that was the right things to do – it’s what I understood to be the only way to set them up.
I now want to create a list of my events using the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode. I have set it up with the dropdown display of days for each event. However, since the three yoga days are separate events, they list as such.
Is there any way to amalgamate the three on the events listing page, so there is just one “Prenatal Yoga” heading, and when someone clicks on Register the dropdown will include all dates – Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays??
We are currently working on a template file for the Custom Files add on that does just that. It is being tested currently, but will be released in due course (we can’t give timescales easily as things change). Right now it doesnt work with the Multiple Event Registration add on and probably wont when released, but it may be added further down the line.
Just further to your exact issue, what it would do is list three items in a table (Tue, Thur, Sat) and each one will have a drop down for the dates for that particular day, as you have set up three recurring events.
