I have tried various ways to hyper-link an image to a shortcode, but can not get it to work.

Rather than use the “View Cart” text generated by MER ([ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”add_event_id_here” direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]), I would like to hyper-link an image of a shopping cart.

If this is none through editing ESPRESSO_CART_LINK css, that’s fine but there isn’t any css files in the MER folder. Am I missing something?

Hi Paul,

There are 2 outputs from the ESPRESSO_CART_LINK shortcode.

‘Add to cart’ which can be changed to an image following the method posted here:

http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/#customizing

Then when you have the event in question in the cart. ‘View Cart’ will be displayed. This needs to be styled using CSS, (which you place within the themes .css file or a custom css file using a plugin such as My Custom CSS)

From the looks of the shortcode you included you only need the ‘Add to Cart’ text replacing as that shortcode directs the user to to cart once clicked, is that correct?
