I’d like to push visitors directly to the form vs. them having to click on “Register” on a the description page first. How do I do that?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Each event has its own URL, so you could use that and create a link directly to the event’s URL, or create a separate page for an event and place the [SINGLEEVENT] shortcode on it. More info: http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#single-events

In the event editor, just below the event title, there are buttons that will 1) generate a shortcode that can be used to display the event on the page, and 2) a button that will generate a short URL that can be used to link directly to the event.

Please note: do not replace the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode with another shortcode. This will break the registration process. We recommend hiding the page with the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode from the site’s navigation menu if you prefer to display a page with the event registration form only.
