I can’t seem to find any setting but it seems like, lately, people are registering for events and they are, concurrently registered as users for the WordPress site. This has only happened in the last month or so. Has something changed in EE that is causing this to happen by default? I can’t seem to find the setting for this.

Hi Richard,

That is not a default feature of Event Espresso although we do have this Gist:

https://gist.github.com/sethshoultes/5574217

Which registers attendees as WordPress users (subscribers) when they register for an event. Have you used this previously and possibly not removed it?

Usually this is placed within your themes functions.php file or wp-content/uploads/espresso/custom_functions.php file.
