Hello,
I have installed event espresso on my ipad device and upon entering my credentials, it says the following:
“Sorry, can’t log in. Bad username and password combination”
I have tested the url “http://wellfestja.com/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json” to check if the api is working and it is but if I HTTP GET the authenticate, it says the same thing with bad username and password.
I have the latest version of the api and my site was changed from a multisite to a single site to accomodate these plugins.

Hi there,
One thing to check is whether you have symbols in the password. There is a limitation with the iOS app at this time where it will not work if the password has %, @, or & in it.

There is no symbols in the password. only letters and numbers.

If there are no symbols in the password, then you might try creating an new admin account (not a converted over super-admin account from when the site was running WPMultisite) and try logging into the app with the new admin account.

I have just created a new admin but the same thing happens…
I really don’t know why this is happening.

Usually a bad username and password combination is just that, with the noted exception of when there is an & in the password (that’s something we may have fixed and if not will fix in a future update).
What you could try at this point is deactivate all plugins with the exception of Event Espresso and the JSON API plugin and try logging in with the app again. This may possibly narrow down the issue.
