I like the WP User Integration but it provides no granularity for what I want to enable and disable. I want the capability to allow users to be able to access the events they’ve registered for but I don’t really need the Member Pricing.
For every event, I have multiple prices for different types of attendees. Not only do I have to enter Standard Pricing but the WP User Integration Plugin forces me to enter a Member’s price even though there is no Member’s Price. If I don’t do anything then it will autopopulate Member’s Pricing for me.
Can you please allow a simple control in the Event Espresso panel to disable Member pricing or allow the users to remove Member Pricing from an event and not have the plugin force the addition of Member pricing?
The Member pricing is the main purpose of WP User Integration; to allow you to grant registered member’s discount pricing. The storing of the user profile information and allowing registered users to see the events they are registered for is a bonus of the add-on. With that said, there isn’t a way to deactivate the member pricing. That is why the price is auto-populated for you if you don’t do anything with the prices.
I will add your request for functionality to turn off member pricing to our feature request list so our developers will be aware of your suggestion.
OK, Thanks Jonathan. I think it’s been noted that the price is auto-populated but the Name for each populated value in Member Pricing is not. I think that if you guys resolve that issue it won’t be much of a problem.
Thanks again for the suggestion Richard. I appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
