I have a person that signed up for an event with 4 atendees @ $55.00 each for a toatl of $275.00 The invoice shows this correctly, however the system shows him owing $335.00 a difference of $60.00 I changed the payment to reflect $275 paid and tried to change the status to paid but the system returned it to pending.
    No discounts used.

      Hi Rob,

Was this a Mutli Event Registration using a Cart link or a single registration with multiple tickets?

Mulit Event Registration. He did process other registrations in separate transactions

        Hi Rob,

Could you try adjusting the amount in the Edit Attendee Payment Record screen by using this field:

        http://cl.ly/image/0Z1W3m2G3B3V

        It accepts negative values.

Then you should be able to set the payment status to completed.

A negetave payment of $60 showed he still owed $120.
A payment then of $120 showed the payment completed.
But!!! The devil is in the details.
Now it shows he paid a total of $335 for an event that only cost $275.
So Accounting now has a problem Where did this $60 go.
          Also;;;
Why did this happen.. How can we depend on the program to charge the right prices.

Edit payment page now showing the completed payment of 335

            Transaction status
            http://naweoa.org/Working/EE/payment2.jpg

And finally the invoice showing 4 registrations @ $55

Sorry I gave an incorrect answer before it was a single registration with multiple tickets?

Thanks for explaining further. I’m actually not sure how this happened but I believe I can help you get your numbers to match up.

              1) One this page (Edit Attendee Data):

              http://naweoa.org/Working/EE/payment2.jpg

…could you set the price at 55 and the quantity at 5 and click update. This should move the cost to 275.

              2) On this page (Edit Attendee Payment Record):

              http://naweoa.org/Working/EE/payment.jpg

…could you enter a -60 in the new payment amount field?

That should bring the balance to 0 and allow the payment status to move to completed.

Through much tweaking I have got the numbers to match. Thanks for your help on that.
Ill watch to see if more incorrect registrations come in but it kind of defeats the purpose of the software if we have to check every calculation.

Thanks for an update. I really am not sure how it happened, otherwise I would have shared some ideas.
