Did I miss something? I have the multiple event registration plugin installed/activated, and added the following to my event, under the event description window: [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1″ direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”] but nothing happens when I click “register” on the registration page. http://twsalaskameeting.com/?page_id=45&ee=1 I am attempting to add some registration options (like extra banquet tickets) to my event registration, but I’m not sure I’m doing this the correct way. Where does one add price options? any help would be appreciated!

    Hello,

There are a few things you can try:

    1. Make sure the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode is by itself on a page and it is public and not password protected.
    2. Try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non Event Espresso plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.
    3. Try to rule out a theme conflict by switching to the default Twenty Eleven theme.
    4. I’ve seen this happen when there is an SSL plugin installed, or if you have something like SiteLock with your hosting company.

Your link is the issue, for whatever reason it is pointing to a different domain so you are getting this error:

    XMLHttpRequest cannot load
    http://wildlifeprofessional.org/twsalaskameeting/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.
Origin http://twsalaskameeting.com is not allowed by
    Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

Here is more information on the source of the error https://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/HTTP_access_control.

I would review your domain structure or look at allowing access via the header.

Yes i have a Event Registration page with the above shortcode by itself, which is public. I also tried adding 2 new events (ID = 3 and 4) and in the 1st event, under the overview page, I added the following text under the event description: Annual Meeting of the Alaska Chapter of the Wildlife Society
      Dates: April 3-5, 2013
Location: Wood Campus Center – University of Alaska Fairbanks
      [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1-3-4″ anchor=”Register for These Events”]

Did i do this correctly? because stil – when you click on “register for these events” it simply hangs mid-air and doesn’t go anywhere! Here is the page: http://twsalaskameeting.com/?page_id=45&regevent_action=register&event_id=1

So an interesting thing about the multiple events registration link not working…if I right-click the link, and open link in new window – everything works! If I simply click on it, it just hangs/spins…any ideas why this would be happening and how to fix it?

        Hi Elizabeth,

Clicking on the link takes you to a site, but it only has the title on the page, no registration details or form.

Was your site on a test server or sub domain prior to being launched on its own domain?

The link you give is for http://twsalaskameeting.com, but clicking the registration link takes you to http://wildlifeprofessional.org/twsalaskameeting/ which is obviously different and the browser is stopping things from happening due to the swap in domains.
