I’ve just purchased the business liscence but I can’t get the plugin installed. I couldn’t upload it at all via WordPress and when I upload it via FTP I get the following error

Warning: require_once(includes/functions/main.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/arntest/dev.schoolforstartupscommunity.net/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/espresso.php on line 271

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘includes/functions/main.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear’) in /home/arntest/dev.schoolforstartupscommunity.net/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/espresso.php on line 271

A little further information. I should have siad this is a multisite install. I don’t have any of the plugins installed that are noted to conflict.

However I have just installed in a single install with no plugins and didn’t have any error message. Is this a multisite issue or perhaps a plugin conflict?

Hi Nova,

Was Event Espresso network activated or activated for one site?

Another possibility to check is whether includes/functions/main.php was transferred in the FTP upload and the file permissions allow it to be accessed by PHP?

Hi Josh

I had read that it couldn’t be network activated so I only activiated it on the one site. The file is there and has 644 permissions – user read and write.

thanks

Nova

I’ve also turned off all my other plugins but the error still shows when I try to activate.

Hi Josh

I reloaded the includes/functions folder in our ftp and it solved the problem.

Thanks
