On a site i am working there is no information appearing on ‘ Verify Registration’ after someone signed in for a event. No event name, no price…. The site is http://www.eventswithfriends.nl The site is still in progress. You have to login first [sensitive data removed by Support] Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Are there any templates in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory from a previous version of Event Espresso? Specifically the confirmation_display.php template?

Hi Josh,

Thanks voor the reply. No, /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory is empty.

Okay. Can you try deactivating and re-activating Event Espresso? Also, please check to see if any of the add-ons need to be updated. Specifically the WP-user integration add-on/members add-on if it’s installed. The current versions will be on your account page.

I am having the same issue with Event Espresso v3.1.28.P – When people attempt to sign-up for an event, they get the following error:

An error occured. The primary attendee could not be found.

I modified /includes/process-registration/payment_page.php to dump the last $wpdb query when this error occurs, which shows this:

SELECT * FROM wp_events_attendee WHERE registration_id = '1-508839e315687' AND is_primary = 1 ORDER BY id LIMIT 0,1

I then looked at the MySQL database, and see that two records have been inserted to the wp_events_attendee table as follows:

id => 200
registration_id => 1-508839e30834a
is_primary => 1
lname => Benjamin
fname => Bowtie
address => 555 Someplace Lane
address2 => Suite 77
city => Someplace
(so on and so forth)

id => 201
registration_id => 1-508839e315687
is_primary => 0
lname => Benjamin
fname => Bowtie
address => 555 Someplace Lane
address2 => Suite 77
city => Someplace
(so on and so forth)

I don’t have any of the other Event Espresso plugins (Social Media, Calendar, etc.) loaded, and have no old files under /wp-content/uploads/espresso/. So far I have tried completely removing all of the Event Espresso files from my server, as well as completely dumping all Event-Espresso-specific tables & WP options from my MySQL database, and still this occurs.

Any ideas, guys?

I’ve just tried de-activating and re-activating Event Espresso as suggested in another thread where the OP is having similar issues – Still receiving the “An error occured. The primary attendee could not be found.” message.

Deactivating and re-activating Event Espresso works for me! Thanks!
