Is it possible to include the main required system questions (name, address etc..) on the initial site registration as opposed to asking them in the checkout process?

The standard WordPress registration form includes ‘username’ and ‘e-mail’. To add any additional fields would require extending the WordPress user registration form.

Even if you were to do that, Event Espresso would still display the fields on the registration form. I suppose these could be hidden with CSS, since they would already be pre-filled.
