Hello,
This happened to me in December and is happening once again.
I’ve become frustrated after trying to save my new (in-active) event. After creating the new events, submitting them and constantly clicking “update” every few minutes I have found that my in-active event disappears from event overview. My old events appear in the event overview. I have had it disappear 3 times.
WP standard theme version 3.8.1
LITE version, no installed add-ons
web designer installed.

This is what I see on my event overview. “spring fling” event is missing.

Thank you!
Jill

Hi Jill,

Without a log-in we can not see the Event Overview.

Could you take a screenshot of the page, upload the image and link it here for us to view please?

If the event is “active” it saves. I made “spring fling” event active even though I want it in-active but did not want to lose it. Here is the screen shot. Thanks,

Hi Jill,

I am assuming that you are using the option “Is this an active event?” ?

If so then yes I can see what’s occurring here. Recent EE versions make more use of the filters to hide events that aren’t currently active. EE Lite doesn’t have those filters to enable you to find those events.

I will raise a developer ticket to look into this.

Yes, that is exactly what I am using. I choose “no” in the drop down box “is this an active event” Thanks for looking into it. If I don’t have the option of setting up and viewing in-active events, it really limits my use of EE. I prefer to create events and continue to edit them before making them “live” on my website.
Thank you, I’m hoping the developer can fix this on the LITE version.

One way to work around this is to edit line 171 of the current lite version’s includes/event-management/queries.php file so it reads:

$SQL .= 'WHERE e.event_status = "A" OR e.event_status = "O" ';
