Apologies for all of the questions.

I’m building a new event site for an NPO networking organization.
They have an existing datasheet containing name, company name, email address and phone number of all of their members.

Is there any way to import that data into EE and create member profile, login name and password for each member without doing it all by hand?
Or do you recommend that we ask members to re-register on our site?

What are my options?

Thanks for your time.

Hi Michael,

The members are just basic WP users, so they can be imported using plugins such as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/import-users-from-csv/ (not tested, just an example)
