Hi,

On our site http://www.biebob.be/, some of the images in the event overview or detail just disappear without a cause or reason.

When I take a closer look the image URL, the image is using the Site URL and not the WordPress URL
Incorrect URL used: http://www.biebob.be/wp-content/…
The correct URL is: http://www.biebob.be/site/wp-content/…

What can be the problem here?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

When you go to add the featured image in the event editor you’ll want to verify that the “Link URL” field is pointing to the correct url path (includes the /site/ directory in the path.

Hi Josh,

That’s the point, it was the correct url. Somehow it changed automatically. When I go to the event editor, I also see the red cross (no image found). It does not include the /site/ directory.

For the featured image URLs that got changed you can go in and remove those images and re-upload them.

Yes, I fixed it. But I also fixed this for all images 2 weeks ago and the problem came back. What can be the cause? Is this something in Event Espresso?

I don’t think it’s something that Event Espresso is doing. The featured image URL paths get stored as meta key values in the database. Something is changing the URL paths somewhere along the way.
