I would like to add an image or a logo next to each event. I can do so using the more tag and allowing short descriptions but I would like something a bit more customized. A place like the standard WordPress upload images functionality in the event form so that any user can easily upload a logo to show next to the event.
This can be done by adding a featured image to your event…
…and then modifying your event_list_display.php (and/or your registration_page_display.php if you want it to be automagically added to the event reg pages, too) by adding this somewhere in the template:
We were holding off on customizing the template out of fear that upgrades later on to Event Espresso would overwrite our changes. Care to elaborate?
If upgrades do not replace theme files for the event pages, then this is a whole different level of customization we’re able to apply to the website. I would very much like to learn more.
