Hi, I’m currently using the latest version of Event Espresso for a company event site, and I appreciate the addition of ical to the latest update. I was wondering though, is there any functionality that allows this ical appointment to be attached to the registration confirmation email, or at least the Thank You page? Any help is very much appreciated!

Yes, you can use [add_to_calendar] in the email editor. I will make a note to add this to our documentation.

It works, thanks!

Is there any way to add it as an attachment to an email instead of a download link in the body of the email, though? It doesn’t quite work right when viewing the email on an iPhone, as clicking the iCal import link opens up presumably a download link in Safari.

Hello Rouel,

At this time, this functionality is not available. I am adding to the feature request for our developers to see. I understand this can be a much needed feature.

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out for it then.
