At present, there is no way to stop the system applying both Group Discounts and Coupon Codes to the same order. Obviously this isn’t ideal, so I think it should be possible to implement a few lines of jQuery to fix things.
Basically, I would just tell the system that if the Group Discount is triggered, then it should empty the Coupon Code input and hide it.
As far as I can tell, this should work. The only thing I don’t have is a way to track if the Group Discount option has been triggered. I can see some clever stuff going on with Ajax when I look in via Firebug, but this isn’t my strong point.
Can anyone perhaps help point me in the right direction. I’m guessing this might be useful for the larger community as well.
This would take some customization. While we aren’t currently taking on custom work at this time, please feel free to reach out to our Pro-Developers who may be able to assist you.
