I would like to use multiple event registraton to solve one problem:
I have 3 type of attendees (members of a society, non members, student) and 3 hotel options (Single room, Double room single occupancy, Double room) but with only 20 rooms can be Double single occupancy or Double.
So I think to create 2 events, one for Single hotel room where you can choice the tickets tipe (members of a society, non members, student) and another for Double single occupancy/Double hotel room where you can choose the ticket type (members of a society, non members, student) and with the limits of 20 tickets.
I will use the Ticketing add-on but in this way I can’t have an unique event on my phone app for the check-in. How is possible to add the attendees who payed for the Double single occupancy/Double room (20 tickets) to the main list?
Another question: is possible to use the “Early Registration Discount” on diferent tickets for one events? Ex. in my event only members of a society (and non the other two categories, student and not members) can have an early registration discount.
If the ticketing aspect is key to this then you will need rethink using MER. Reason being is you would need to swap between the events for each ticket, which could quickly become annoying and slow.
As such I would consider creating one event with 9 pricing options.
You could go down a different route and just offer 3 pricing options /the room costs) and use the WP User Integration (Members) add on so that registered members (just the society members) can see a discounted price when logged in and use a promotional code to give to students to get a discount.
Early bird registration is event wide unfortunately, so everyone will get it.
