Hi,

I can’t see how to update my plugins. There is no update option on the plugin list.

If I need to enter the license key somewhere, I don’t see where to do that either.

Help appreciated.

Which version of Event Espresso is installed? If the version number is lower than 3.1.24.P, you’ll need to manually update before you can enter the license key.

If the version number is 3.1.24.P or higher, the key field is at the very bottom of the Event Espresso>General settings page. More info here: http://staging.eventespresso.com/topic/plugin-auto-update-tips/

Ah yes. I have 3.1.20.

How do I manually update without losing data? Is it safe to delete the plugin entirely and install new one through admin?

The data is stored in the database. If you follow the instructions here, you should be fine. It’s always a good idea to have FTP access ready and make a backup of the database just in case.
