Hi,

Is there a way to suppress an event from displaying on the Calendar? A shortcode or CSS perhaps?

Please advise.

Hi Ronald,

There are probably a couple ways you can do it. Category-specific calendars might be one. Categorize all your events and then exclude the event in question from your the category.

Thanks, Garth.

Is this the shortcode you are referring to?

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=”your_category_identifier”] to display events of a certain category (also creates a CSS using the category_identifier as the class name)

Yes, you’ll want to replace “your_category_identifier” with your category’s identifier from the category management page.

Ok, thank you.

So I could potentially have 2-3 of these shortcodes on the Calendar page?

Please confirm if one or more calendar category shortcodes can occupy the same page, or if only one calendar category shortcode can occupy a page.

One more question and this thread will be resolved: When pasting the category ID into the calendar category shortcode, do you paste the ID within the quote marks, or delete the quote marks?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Ideally only one calendar per page. If more are used it may cause unexpected errors.

Regarding the parameter, they should go within the quote marks

Thanks, Dean! I appreciate the confirmation.
