I am able to show the Event List page with a full page view, however, when I click on a category from the drop down menu, I cannot view the sub pages in full page mode. It shows up as an archive page with the search bars and recent posts on the left hand side.

Hi J.

Can you post a link to the page so we can take a look? If so, we can take a look and we may have some ideas on what you can do.

Here is a link to the page. I am trying to remove the information on the right side of the page: search bar, recent posts, ect.

Thank you.

Hi J,

Since you’re using the twentytwelve theme it’s a fairly straightforward solution. You add this function to a custom snippet plugin or create a child theme and add the function to the child theme’s functions.php file.

add_filter( 'body_class','twentytwelvechild_width_archives', 20 );
function twentytwelvechild_width_archives( $classes ) {

    if ( is_archive() )
        $classes[] = 'full-width';

    return $classes;
}
