We set up Event Espresso for a golf course and we are currently using the plugin for tournaments. Since it is a university golf course, no credit card/paypal payment methods can be linked. We want to set events up so that it shows the registration fee but doesn’t require online payment.
Right now, we have it set up with off-line payment options of invoice payments. Is there a better way to set it up so it doesn’t seem that complicated for users??
Right now, users have to click on invoice payment. We would like to set up it so the registration completion page says “Thank you for registering, please pay the registration fee in the Golf Shop.”
The html that the invoice generates on the payment page is coming from gateways/invoice/invoice_vars.php. You could replace that html, lines 27-87, with your own html to customize what is displayed. If you do make modifications, be sure to copy the folder gateways/invoice over to uploads/espresso/gateways/invoice, so that your customizations will be preserved the next time you update EE.
