How to remove footer or widgets at the bottom of home page

I don’t know the technical terms but I have stuff on the bottom of my homepage that i want removed. I just can’t seem to figure it out Any help?
http://www.lavenderscrew.com if you check out the link and scroll to the bottom of the page I want the entire bottom footer/widgets removed.

Hi Grace,

Usually that’s something you’d remove via the WordPress > Appearance > Widgets menu. If you can’t find an option to remove widgets there then I recommend contacting the WordPress theme developer for support.

What Josh said is correct. Maybe your web developer created that are for your “lavenderscrew” WordPress theme?
