We are an afterschool program and I am trying to list our classes as one event that reoccurs, but is only listed once on registration. Is there any way to list this? I don’t want a customer, who should be adding all classes at once, to mistakenly miss a class. Also, there is a flat price for the class and when I make it a reoccuring event, it lists the price over and over again. I am also wondering how do I make the registration page show from and to dates, instead of just the first event date?
To answer this correctly we would need to know a little more into how the classes are set up.
It would seem to me that you don’t actually need recurring events in this case. From what you have described and also having a look on the site I think you may be better with one event for the group of classes. So in the example linked.
One event with and event start date of 4th November & and end date of December 20th. You could add into the description the actual dates of the event also. Would that work?
The reason I’m saying that way is in that Lets say the above example has 8 events. That’s 8 separate attendee lists that need to be monitored. You can force events 2-8 to use event 1’s attendee list, but then in that setup you wouldn’t need the other events anyway, even more so as you don’t appear to be using the calendar (where that option becomes useful)
Let us know what your setup is for your classes and I’m sure we can find a wa to display them to suit your needs :)
