I need to create a new event with registration, etc without a corresponding entry on calendar. I hope this is something super easy and I just overlooked the settings.

Hi Jake,

While this isn’t the intent of the “Waitlist” event status, if you set the event to the “Waitlist” event status it will not display on the calendar but it will be open for registration.

If you want this event to be included within a list of normal events you can use a shortcode on a page like:

[EVENT_LIST show_secondary=true]
