Hello,
I am having an issue closing an event.
To give a better idea of what I mean; we have classes daily and our maximum is 12 people per. The only way it closes, so that no one can register any more, is manually going to each class and selecting a registration end date that has already passed.
Is there a way to get a class to Close automatically when a limit of people has been reached instead of when a date has passed?
Thanks for all the help!

Hi Maria,

When the attendee limit is reached the event should stop taking registrations and display a message such as http://d.pr/i/Hay7

Currently on the calendar the event will still be displayed as usual until they try to register for the event. If you would like to display the event has sold out within the tool-tip we have that feature included in the beta version of the calendar available from the pre-release channel.

Hi Maria,

Yes this is more or less automatic.

Capacity wise, in the event you need to make sure that the Attendee Limit has been set to the correct number. Once the number of Completed or Pending registrants (in the Attendee Overview they will have green ticks or a yellow triangle next to them) hits that number the event will close.

Incomplete (red circle) attendees do not count towards this total though. If needed you could always change the Default Payment Status to Pending, but that will mean people who registered but have no intention of paying will take up a spot.

Once the End Registration Date has passed the event will close as well, so you need to check your Event and Registration dates to make sure they are correct and not overlapping unnecessarily.

Hope that helps, but if you have more questions or need clarification please just ask.
