Hi. We are using event espresso for our organization. We have over 100 events over 11 days. I want to know the best way to line list the events for a single day. I’ve been tweaking the movie_list.php file from the add-ons, but haven’t been able to make it work. Just looking to provide our viewers with a daily line list of events.

What about the ESPRESSO_TABLE shortcode from the custom files add on? IT will no doubt need some tweaking to add/remove columns but it is a decent line based view and you can integrate MER with it as well.

Okay. This might be the best choice. What is the available parameter to pass in the shortcode to show events by start date? i.e. [ESPRESSO_TABLE start_date=”2013-02-14″]

Hi,

The shortcode should be ordering them in date order by default, if it isn’t use order_by=”start_date”

Sorry I worded my question wrong. What is the available parameter to pass in the shortcode to show events for only one day? Right now I’ve have the Espresso_Table working great. Our events happen over 11 days. I want to create 11 separate pages that show just that day’s events. The Espresso_Table allows filtering by category. Can it allow filtering for a single day?

Hi Joshua,

No that shortcode cannot be filtered by a single day. The option would be of course to set categories to the events and filter it that way, its a clunky option but workable.
