I’d like to include event descriptions in the info sent to Authorize.net. The info is not being set currently. I’m using the AIM option. Will there be an update in the near future that will address this issue? Or can someone from EE give me a hand with this now?

There are currently no plans to add this feature to the Auth AIM gateway.

If you’re interested in contracting with us to add this feature, I can suggest looking into our customization service.

We’ve got a branch in development that adds a description field to the info sent to authnet, but it’s not the event description in the event editor. It’s a description composed of the event name, the attendee name, the price option, etc. You should be able to modify it to suit your needs, however.

Sidney,
That’s what I’m after (description composed of the event name, the attendee name, the price option, etc). We need the info in the receipts to make sense to accounting. How would I go about making this happen?

This is our site: http://www.crookedtree.org

Hi Carina,

I can package up a version of this build and send you a copy to the email address that’s listed on your account. I’d recommend testing this out before moving onto a production site.
