I have a client who will be be registering conference attendees through EE and would like to have the option of having people also register for a golf tournament, too. How would I do this without adding an additional event?

Hello,

Event Espresso is not designed to add items/products to an event registration out of the box. Currently the workaround for this is to create an event for the additional items you would like to be included and use the Multi Event Registration add-on to add an add-to-cart link (http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/) for those additional items.

An example of this is available here: http://eetesting.info/3.1.josh/?page_id=4&regevent_action=register&event_id=1191

After you’ve added the other item(s)/donation as an event this is how you’ll add the items to the description of your main event and add these as additional option:
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1191″ anchor=”Register for This Event”]
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1189″ anchor=”Add a T-shirt”]
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1190″ anchor=”Add a Sticker”]

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help you with this further.

Hi Dave,

You could also add the golf outing as an additional price option. Here’s an example:
