I understand that the admin email can be modified at: includes/functions/email.php starting on line 416 but what and where would I add in that code the first and last name of the new registered attendee info? Thank you

Hi Michael,

At about line 464 is an array that contains ’email_subject’ this is what needs to be edited.

So for example you could change:

'email_subject' => !$data->multi_reg ? $data->event->event_name . ' ' . __('registration confirmation', 'event_espresso') : __('Event Registration Notification', 'event_espresso'),

to this

'email_subject' => !$data->multi_reg ? $data->attendee->fname . ' ' . $data->attendee->lname . ' ' . __('registration confirmation', 'event_espresso') : __('Event Registration Notification', 'event_espresso'),
