I was wondering how cancelling and refunding a registration is handled. I tried to look in the documentation, but I can’t access it.
I find it quite disconcerting that I can’t read the docs until after deciding to purchase. It makes it much more difficult to determine if your software meets our needs. Is it possible to get an evaluation version, with full documentation, prior to purchase?
There are portions of our documentation that is available to users who have the Event Espresso Lite version. Other documentation requires a login, because it is irrelevant to users who do not have an appropriate license that is required to utilize those features.
As far as cancelling and refunding, you would cancel the registration through the Event Espresso admin area. To issue a refund, you would need to do that through your payment gateway of choice.
Let us know if we can answer anymore questions for you.
I have to disagree on your documentation policy, however. Documentation on features not yet purchased is of tremendous help in deciding whether or not to purchase those features.
I really do appreciate your honesty and input. I will make note of this and discuss it with the guys who run the functionality of the site. :)
