Would it be possible to hide the price on the main page (while keeping it of course on the individual event pages)?

Hi,

By the main page I assume you mean the list of events? If so, then yes a little bit of CSS will work wonders here.

.event_price { display: none; }

Add that to your themes style.css file or to a plugin such as My Custom CSS
