Created my first event and it looks like having event registration start / end dates is required.

However I need to create events that are more open invitations — this is for a Church and they just want to have on their event calendar “Weekly meeting for ministry xyz 5pm – 8pm in room 2, all welcome” kind of thing.

Is this a check box I can toggle somewhere?

Hello Gerald,

It sounds like you may need to use the Recurring Events add on for this. There is a great tutorial here that can show you step by step how to setup class type events: http://staging.eventespresso.com/forums/2011/12/multiple-dates-for-one-course/comment-page-1/#comment-15094
