Hi – I’m trying to display a bunch of info in the description of an event, but in the calendar, when you mouse-over the event, I want either a short description or no description.
I can find how to do the opposite – hide the description on the registration page, but not the calendar.

Is there a way to do this? Many thanks!

Hi Jason,

The tooltips make use of the More (

<!--more-->

) tag in the event description. Currently there is a small issue in the calendar as it is ignoring the more tag, this has been fixed in the next version of the calendar.

The more tag cuts the content off at that point, so add it where it needs to go or even before the content to show nothing.

You could try a copy of the Beta version (but it is a beta so be aware of that!) or await the formal release (no timescale but we are actively working on it).

Ah – great! I found reference to using the -more- tag, but couldn’t get it to work, so I thought maybe it was discontinued. I’ll look forward to the next update.
Many thanks –
