Got a message from someone trying to register for an event, but after clicking “submit” it goes to this page http://www.womenwithaltitude.com.au/our-events-2/event-registration/?r_id=8-51da4eb648611&id=97&event_id=8&edit_attendee=true&single=true
It is happening on all the current events, I did a test registration for them all, then I tried filling it in on this (above) page & hit submit, nothing happens.
I got the confirmation email, but

We are also experiencing some sort of conflict – not only is EE playing up – but comments are too.

Any ideas?

Hi Andrea,

I checked your site and it looks like the issue is from having the main registration page set to use the “EE Event Posts Template”. The page set as the main registration page, which on your site is:

http://www.womenwithaltitude.com.au/our-events-2/event-registration/

should be using the default page template. I’ll go ahead and change this for you since I’m already logged in.

Hi Josh
Now the event page (menu) just goes back to the home page. We are doing promotions today with FB and local news to get registrations, so I need this fixed today – we are in Australia and it’s today now.

http://www.womenwithaltitude.com.au/our-events-2/event-registration/ this page you say you re-directed it to – what is it? It’s not a page I want people to see – it’s ugly.

Did you test it before you said it was working?

I have managed to get it to go to this page http://www.womenwithaltitude.com.au/events/ but this still is not the page it used to go to – the page was snippets of all the event posts – with a link to the actual registration page.

Another problem arghhhhh…..
now it’s saying several of the events are closed – when the ARE NOT
This is maddening – what on earth is wrong. Do I have to wait till your morning time to get this fixed?

Hi there,

We got an email from Trish explaining that someone on her changed the permalinks so that could be causing the issue.

The only change I made was for the main registration page to allow the registration process to go through. If you don’t like how that page looks you can hide it from the navigation menu. What that means is put this page:

http://www.womenwithaltitude.com.au/events/

in for the “Events” menu item.

If you’d like someone from Event Espresso support to make the adjustments we can do that for a support token.
