Promo/coupon codes not calculating discount in shopping cart…
Looking for a better way to correct this issue. This was suggested to us:
You will need to set all of the Promo Codes to not be global. Promotional Codes > Select the code > Change “Global? (Apply to All Events by Default)” to “No”. I’ve already done this for wood2014. Then you will need to go into each of the events and change “Allow Promo Codes?” to “Global and Specific Promo Codes” and select ALL of the promo codes that you want to apply to that event. Then, make sure that “Would you like to apply any of the changes that you have made to this event to: ” is set to “All events in the series” (in the red area), so that all of the events in that series is updated.
We have 150+ promo/coupon codes and 200+ events on our site at any given time. So the solution suggested to us is much too time consuming. Having to edit over 200 events each time we add a new global promo/coupon code would be hours and hours of work. Does anyone know of a better way to correct this issue?
Help is much appreciated!
We are aware of the promo codes not working in the cart and are actively looking to resolve this as soon as possible. Currently there is no other workaround to resolve it other than the one outlined above.
Step 1: Under “Allow Promo Codes” select “Global and Specific Promo Codes”
Step 2: Check the boxes for the specific codes
Step 3: Click “update event”.
There is a developer that’s been assigned to work on this and we’ll post an update here on the progress he makes.
