getting catagories only to disply

Hi guys. bit of newbie here im afraid.

I am running seminars and have put them into catagories. yet when i try and get only 1 catogory displaying on a single page the register now function is disabled. could somebody please explain the shortcode needed to list just one catagory that still allows customers to enroll.

Im sory i’m not sure I understand the reply to my question. What I am after is the specific short code I need to install to make my seminars appear in just one category that still allows my customers to complete the transaction. cheers Brent

Which code are you currently using?

[EVENT_LIST category_identifier=your_category_identifier]
