I’ve just acquired EE plugin and I’m on the way to configure it.
Is there a way to have a front-end page to create venue (user registry and admin) and event creation/managing?
I’d like to have our custommers creating their own event from the front-office: I don’t want them on the WP backoffice.

Thankyou in advance!

OTTO

Not currently. One of the developers has been working on a front end event creation tool. The management part would still be in the back end part though.

And there is no way to create a form with shortcodes or similar (or php code) to allow users (clients) to access their user/event info and maybe modify it?

On the front-end no. There is work being done on a permissions add-on that will allow them to access only their events from the wp-admin.

When will this be available?

The beta of the roles and permissions pro is available now, but it has not been refactored to work with the front end event creation tool.

I am creating the events for my event managers and then they get to access the WP just to manage the attendees. How can I change/select who is the event manager for each event? is this possible?

After buying and installing the roles and permissions pro beta, I am getting this error when trying to go to the venue manager as a regional manager

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/fr33r3spite/freerespite.com/newsite/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/admin-files/functions.php on line 55

and this error when trying to add a new venue

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘)) UNION ( SELECT v.* FROM wp_events_venue v WHERE v.wp_user = 2)’ at line 1]
( SELECT v.* FROM wp_events_venue v LEFT JOIN wp_events_locale_rel l ON l.venue_id = v.id WHERE l.locale_id IN ()) UNION ( SELECT v.* FROM wp_events_venue v WHERE v.wp_user = 2)

Did you create a locale first?
