Hi,

I’ve just done a fresh install of WP 3.8.1 and installed EE with the following plugins. After activation, EE works fine but there’s no recurrent event option when creating new events.

Event Espresso
Version 3.1.36.4.P

Event Espresso – Calendar
Version 2.2.2.p

Event Espresso – Custom Template Display
Version 1.0

Event Espresso – MailChimp Integration
Version 1.2

Event Espresso – Members Addon
Version 1.9.8.p

Event Espresso – Multi Event Registration
Version 1.0.5.p

Event Espresso – Permissions
Version 1.5.5.p

Event Espresso – Recurring Events
Version 1.1.8.p

Event Espresso – Social Coupons
Version 1.5.4.p

Event Espresso – Social Media
Version 1.1.7.p

Event Espresso – Ticketing
Version 2.1.p

Event Espresso API Plugin
Version 2.1.P

The plugins appear to be active, but there is no option to make an event recur when using the edit event page.

Are there any known issues?

Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Are you familiar with the Recurring Events Manager (http://staging.eventespresso.com/product/espresso-recurring/)? There should be an option in the event editor to ask you whether this is a recurring event or not (http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/recurring-events-manager/) is it missing?

Hi Garth,

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m familar with the recurring events manager, and it appears to be installed (activated under the plugins list).

However, when creating events using Event Espresso, the recurring option is missing – so I have no facility to make a specific event recur.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

The recurring events dropdown will only be visible for new events, not existing ones, like so http://take.ms/wxTcN

If the plugin is definitely active and the events are new ones and it still doesn’t appear, please provide login details so we can have a closer look, send them via http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

Hi Dean,

I’ve updated some plugins and everything now works. Sorry I can’t be say with certainty what the issue was, but thanks for the quick reply.

Best regards,

Mark
